Does The World Need More Of What You Are Building?

Hello Everyone

Today we start a multiple part video series on New Construction with some thoughts on “Does The World Need More Of What You Are Building?”

Just because you may have always built the same type of building in the past doesn’t mean that times don’t change. Make sure you take the time once in a while to review what type of building your local area is lacking. Talk to people. Do market studies. Find the need and try to fill it instead of just doing the same thing over and over ‘because we have always done it that way.”

Millenials and Boomers are really changing the new construction landscape too. We will look into the crystal ball and see what types of buildings will be more popular in the next 10 or 20 years and why. I can see the suburbs as well as big shopping centers changing dramatically and not for the better. On the other hand, becoming more popular will be taller rental towers, industrial distribution buildings and commercial condo bays. Exciting times if you catch the correct investment wave.

A large part of the economy in North America is centered, either directly or indirectly, on new construction so sometimes we get caught up in a hamster wheel and build just for the sake of building. We will take a look at that too.
